born in angers on the loire valley in 1972, i was raised in brittany by my grand parents in saint-brieuc until I moved with my mother in the paris area in 1983. for my 17th birthday i was hosted by a family for a month near milwaukee that became my second family and my home at heart.
i started taking interest in photography at the age of 15 when i got my first camera but really got into it when my stepfather gave me his long sleeping reflex in 99. along with my brother anthony we started showing our work at local exhibitions and started to think about getting real about it.
i had the chance to be able to train at the famous école de l’image des gobelins in 2005 to get the technical background i was lacking. it took a few years and the meeting of my soon to be husband benjamin to create a pastry shop, b[n]s kitchen, and to discover a passion for food photography.
after another training at the gobelins in 2012 and a training in pastry in 2013 i dedicated myself to our business including a lot of pastry pictures for the website. i also worked for some other pastry shop in Paris and had the privilege to be featured in the 50 years of the gobelins school.
we decided in 2014 to close the paris shop and we moved in february 2015 calgary: a big change for the best!
i recently work with clever canines, an awesome dog training company, to take their class photos: you can have a look on their facebook page: spring 2015 core class photos
